Scriptures, from a variety of translations, along with classic and contemporary quotes and frame-worthy photographs [by Reverend Brother John Gaudreau] are useful for meditation, spiritual reflection, or as writing prompts. Together or alone they beckon readers to apply pen to paper for a time of "self-care." Leisa Hammett's introduction assures readers there is no right or wrong way to journal as she invites readers to reconnect with God and celebrate the "healing practice of journaling."
